We were notified last evening that Waste Management rescheduled yesterday’s recycling pickup (Monday 7/12/2021) for our next recycling pickup day (Monday 7/19). They’ve requested a courtesy reroute of a truck if one is available in the area and advised us to leave our recycling containers out just in case. Our property manager, Jon Kotler, is in contact with Waste Management and doing what he can to have the recycling picked up this week. We have no reason to believe the next TRASH pickup (Thursday 7/15) will be affected.

Jon Kotler states “This issue has been occurring everywhere with Waste Management (and some other haulers) for both HOAs and residential service, as they are dealing with staffing issues (specifically hiring and training drivers).” According to Waste Management’s website, recycling services in areas of King of Prussia, Pottstown, Royersford, and Wayne have been impacted.

We realize this is an incredible inconvenience, especially for those who missed out on our previous recycling pickup (Monday 7/5) due to confusion over the July 4th holiday. On that topic, the Trash Information document on our website has been updated with a detailed explanation of Waste Management’s holiday schedule and their recycling policies.
